Dear Readers of Immunology for Daily Living, I have been off of Substack for a while due to the war that affected by Nation, my family, and my well-being. I am back with a renewed sense of purpose and direction. For a long time, classical immunologists considered the immune system to be functioning in isolation. This view has now been successfully challenged by psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), a new field that integrates psychology, neuroendocrinology, and molecular immunology.
