I am a founding member and immune science educator at Building Bridges in Children’s Health (BBCH), an international online community dedicated to learning the current science that supports healthy immunity.

I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Biochemistry and then earned a PhD in Immunology.  Upon completion of my PhD thesis on immunologic memory at The Rockefeller University in New York, NY, I held postdoctoral research training appointments in prominent immunology laboratories affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Stanford University School of Medicine. During my doctoral and post-doctoral training, I contributed experimental research and co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications in some of the most prestigious biomedical journals, including Journal of Experimental Medicine (JEM)Nature, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA (PNAS)

During my postdoctoral years of training, I realized that the so-called 'academic freedom' of the biomedical research establishment has been subjugated to the Pharma-centered paradigm that capitalizes on manmade chronic disease created as a collateral damage in our never-ending war on germs and symptoms.  At the end of my post-doctoral training, I made the decision to leave the research establishment, whose value system, priorities, and directions I could no longer embrace.

My 2012 e-book Vaccine Illusion marks my own humble milestone: the disillusionment with mass vaccination programs and their unintended consequences.  Since then, I've been lecturing at integrative medicine conferences and public educational events to promote better understanding of the functional immune system's requirements for optimal health.

I strive to seek out modern peer-reviewed research that continues to refine our knowledge on how our daily choices and habits (e.g., through nutrient depletion, metabolic imbalance, oxidative stress, microbiome disruption, environmental toxins, and iatrogenic damage) can create specific vulnerabilities in the immune system and allow viruses and bacteria to become threatening to our health or survival or result in a dysregulated, self-harming immune system.

My mission is to bring awareness to and share my insights on immunologic research that informs the ways we can improve the function of our immune systems.  Thank you for subscribing!
